Omaha Stomping Groundz is hosting a Melee tournament on September, 7.

What will the rules be? (low grav instagib, rocket arena)
Where is it?
What time?
How much does it cost?
How much are the prizes?
Max number of players?

Rules

Last man standing (LMS)
- 20 lives
- 3 prelims, LMS from each heat gets a bye to the final bracket
- 2nd and 3rd place finishers from each prelim get 22 lives in semifinal heat
- all prelim competitors who place below 3rd, compete again in two semifinal heats
- top three from both semi-final heats advance to finals
-top three from finals melee get CASH
- No time limit
- Anti Camper Mod will be used to prevent camping
- Default Game settings (config changes ARE allowed), Anti camper mod only

player limit: 18 *(subject to increase in the event of more peeps)*
cost: $15 per person
prizes:
1st place $100
2nd place $45
3rd place $25

tournament starts saturday the 7th of september at 2 pm
located at 90th and center next to vip carwash

we need at least 18 peeps to sign up please tell all your ut friends. Email me at joepots@creighton.edu and ill place you on registered list below:

I sent Joe an email to get some details. I will post them as soon as I get a response.

I don't know Opie, there are several very good LMS players in the clan. You might get a run for the money. Shoot, if it's enough I will show up. I don't want to waste my time and expertise if the pot isn't big enough.

Next Question, do they have enough room for the lot of us? I have seen that location, and it's pretty tight with what he has there already.

And since I am one of the team champs(anybody remember SCS 2001?) in this event, I want to make sure that I can use MY PC to beat the pants off of Opie and the others.

As I remember, Wolvie and Zeet didn't make it too the finals, and I took second because I got stuck with a map that was rocket only. Not gonna allow THAT again.
