I know Opie. Tried going to the store to get one on Monday and they were already sold out. I am going to try on line here in a few.

Not a bad price for a dual fan 368 watt power supply. Too bad it's DIT...I'm boycotting them!

Just a question, why? I don't like the corporate side, but I am willing to work with the owner/manager. But that is an update on our situation.

Several reasons...

1) I don't like their customer service. I have purchased on serveral occasions and not had good experiences.

2) Their prices are usually higher than what I can get online (even after shipping) and I only have to wait 2-3 days if I order online.

3) Their motherboard selection has been about 6 months behind.

4) I would rather support CTG, since they support us.

5) Historical issues which may or may not have been resolved by now.

All in all, DIT is the last place I would shop locally, and only if I were extremely desperate.

Are you talking about the Bellevue store, or the Omaha office?

The Omaha office is working hard to gain our trust and faith. New management.

I've been burned by both stores too many times. DIT would practically have to give me a new computer for me to ever consider buying from them again, and you can quote me if a DIT rep asks.

I am not against the new management of DIT... I do however think their options are very much out dated. Where is ASUS motherboards?

I have had bad experiences in both stores. I'm not sure when the new management took over Omaha, so don't know if those experiences are under the new management or not.

Unfortunately with the DIT ties and name, they have a long road to win back my trust and loyalty, especially when they aren't the only game in town. That is the problem with a bad rap, you have to go over and above what you would normally have to do to change the reputation. I haven't seen evidence of that.

try the one in either lincoln or columbus (NE). they are a bit more friendly at the on in columbus but the dont have as much but will usually order it for you if they dont have it. the on in lincon has more but there a bit uptight/ snooty depending on who you talk to. one guy is really nice.

Since I live in Omaha, I doubt I'll go to Lincoln or Columbus, since I could just drive to Bellevue and go to Computers to Go

Or go online to newegg.com etc and have it in 2-3 days, plus I can shop in my underware if I want. :*:hubba:
