Virtual LAN party......
« on: August 14, 2002, 02:12:00 PM »
Last night several members of Ambush and myself, special guest shooter, got together online and had a fantastic time.  I'm starting this topic to provide an opportunity for for those players to comment on our play, indivudal efforts, and any bragging you may feel like doing.  Morphous, in particular, gets special acknowledgement for his knowledge of game voice and firewalls.  Wolverine, well he was there at least.  Spade and son, for their overall outstanding gameplay.  Who knows what will be said for me?  I guess we will find out.

Opps, sorry.  Once we got game voice going, we stopped looking at the chat windows and started playing UT.

If you get Game Voice, or load the Game Voice share, and set us up as contacts (look at our profiles, most of us have our MSN user name listed here mine is penitaw@hotmail.com) then you can join the chat once we are playing, and we can tell you where we are playing at.  We usually try to all get out Tuesday evenings about 8:30.

The playing was good, we held our own as a team a couple of times.  Depending on the map, I think every one was on top score wise at least once or twice.  Kudos to all who played!!!  The F3 tournament is going to be GREAT!!!!!!

I got your message the next AM Seether.  Sorry, I wasn't one of them.  I was wishing a friend happy B-Day.

Zoë: Shepard, isn't the Bible kind of specific about killing?
Book: Very specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzy around the area of kneecaps.

It was a great time! Everyone did great!

And again thanks to Morpheus for giving us all the 'missing' link in the router/game voice adventure.... BIG KUDOS...

And Opiesilver should get an award, too. It will be called the "My Gamevoice Microphone is Better Than Yours" ! :) award....:)

Wait a minute, Opie did you just give my boy an outstanding game play award?  You just moved up a notch on my book.  I think all of us wanted to take him down at some point.  I know he was tearing Wolverine and I up with his Zeet hide and snipe tactics.  Give him another year and I think we will have our hands full.  I plan to work on team tactics with him a little more.  He can pretty much hold his own on the run and gun stuff now that I got his norstomo programed to his liking.  We had a great time and look forward to more to come. :sniper:

For those who can't figure it out, that was Spade who last spoke.  It appears that He can't remember who he is, or he was yelling through the window from outside, so we weren't sure that it was him, thus the anonymous post. ;)
