Razer finally released the Boomslang 2007. Not too sure if I want to get it now that I saw the price, they want 99$ for it.

Huh, silicone lubricant for mouse pads! Why the heck didn't I think of that? Does it work well?

It seems to. At least it does on the smooth side. The pebbled side didn't seem to hold the silicone that well.

Got mine! I forgot how sensitive the buttons are. I like the wider body. Wish they would have put more buttons on.

All I can say is that it so nice to have the opposing side buttons back, as well as the paddle shape. This makes it easier to work with.

It did fix my USB problem, but entirely by accident. I had punched the polling speed up to 1000 on the Habu and that was causing the problem. When I installed the Boomslang it defaulted to 128 for the polling and all was well. I bumped it to 1000 to test the theory and viola' it started freaking out again.
