Many of us are using ASUS boards with AMD chipsets.  As I was reading this thread on the UT2K3 official forums, I came across a link to this article which discusses issues much like I and others found while playing many of the newer games like UT2K3 and BattleField:1942.

  Apparently there is a patch for the latency problem that affects not just graphics, but all facets of your system.  You can get the info here.  I will begin my testing shortly.
