Seagate\'s Barracuda 7200.10 Perpendicular Drive

Hear about perpendicular recording technology. Seagate has been working on this for a while now and they've come out with their first drive using perpendicular recording instead of the standard longitudinal recording. and for a new drive using new technology...the stats are quite impressive.

This looks to be a nice drive to have.  But I think I will wait for the technology to mature a bit.  Really don't want to risk my data as their Beta tester.

Book: Very specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzy around the area of kneecaps.
