It was released today 9-13, and has four maps (2 DM, 1 CTF, 1 bombing run), and most of the weapons in the full game!

You can find it on FilePlanet here.

Post a link if you find a better location to get it.

I'm not going to ask if you like UT2003 because most of you probably haven't downloaded it yet.

I will ask you, those of you who have played it, which is better CTF or Bombing Run?

I choose Bombing Run. Get a few peps together who really understand the game of rugby, and no one can stop you.

I will say this for UT2003, it feels like Q3 with updated graphics. Also the anouncer sounds gay. But I love the bomb run game.

bombing run was fun once I figured it out. Zeet Wolvy and I were playing it last night. The game plays different, aiming, and the delay for the weapons, and speed will all take some getting used to.

Anyone know what the ut2003 demo requires? I am running an athlon 1gh system with a geforce2 MX400 with 64mb ram and 128mb system ram.

it's been more stable that UT on my system so far. 1.33 tb epox 8k7a 512 DDR Radeon 64mb DDR VIVO

I'm not too fond of BR. CTF is ok. I wonder if Lavagiant from the leaked copy will work with this demo? hmmm....

hey JHARSH! nice to hear from you...

System requirements.. i don't know exactly what they are but you should be able to play it with what you got...however you may have to turn down the detail of the game.

I have
AMD XP 1600+
Asus A7V333 motherboard
512mb PC2700 DDR Ram
GeForce2 Pro 64mb
SoundBlaster Audigy Gamer Sound card

I am running the game at 800x600 with most default settings and getting descent game play... 40 Frames per second.. plays fine.

I would suggest you get the latest drivers for your card and then lower some of the detail settings in the game. I would also suggest MORE system ram... another 128mb of Ram.. will make a big difference.

I am playing with the following settings:

CPU: TBird 1GHz
RAM: 512MB PC100
VidCard: Prophet II MX (GeForce2 MX)

After I updated to the latest VIA and video drivers, and defraged the system, I can play at 800x600x16, if I unload all the extra apps I have running.

Actually PC100 is more like 2 years ago!

And I upgraded to the 30.82 Detonators, and things are running MUCH better. Still a few quirks, but better.

My favorite so far is when I am planning Boomball, and when I start a new round, I am in Zoom mode, without the lightning gun. The only way to fix it is to pick up a lightning gun, and go into Zoom mode then out of it!

It's official. This is UT Dolled up like Q3, and after only a few days it's old just like UT has gotten.

*sigh*

Guess I'll move on to BF1942, Planetside, and the others. The Quake and Unreal series is just boring any more.

I dunno, Bombing Run is pretty fun. And the pacing for the Deathmatch I played wasn't too bad. But I do understand.
