they also do this to a couple of P4, but this vids were full of swearing.
But this should convince you to always use a heatsink.

You see the core voltage  4.23 volts.

The only thing holding that poor little processor down was the heat sink.

You are talking about two different things.  They had the Core Voltage cranked and that meant that the CPU speed was cranked as well, but you can do it without ranking voltage as much if the board will support it.

The point here was to get that sucker HOT, so they needed to push more voltage to push the heat up.

the Clock speed was in Mhz (3784.5)
The Core Voltage  was at the top and the Clock was near the bottom
