Update:
I am working on getting a hosted game server for CoD and Ventrilo.
There will be a price with it, but I think we may have a donation system available to help defray the costs. It should come in less than $75/month.

Last night While I was out on the Ambush server
I was accused of cheating, hmm Must be doing good.
Opie and snauz were out too. What a hoot!

Yes, that match was a bit interesting. My favorite was when I killed 5 guys in a row, and there were only 3 on your team! :mg-rt::jawdrop:

Snauz and Papa held up better then I did, I am still not sure what happened.
I usually do a little better then that. but oh well, I had a blast getting smeared
from one side of the map to the other.

Sounds good to me, I know Snauz would be game, just need to tell Papa about it and he'd be for it. Papa, lugs his rig over to my internet connection to game online so we'd just need to find and appropriate time for that.

There were actually more there, but I had just run by there and picked up one of them since I only had the mp40. They had a sniper just behind there as well.
The snipers were maginally effective since we found them and flanked them quickly.

Alllright...its another monday night and im ready to kick some ambush........Just a heads up io was playin thisa weekend and i had it were my deaths wear 3 times less than my kills.........i have screenshot(i hope) for all who dobt......i whould post but im at school so......

1- My suck level has been up this last week so I am not sure what will happen.
2- I have to study for the test tomorrow, so I won't be out early, and will have to leave earlier than usual.

The server is, at least at the time of this posting, still on version 1.4. I would suggest making a backup of your existing version and then doing a re-install for now.

I had a backup drive with the older verrsion on it. put the folder on E drive and played last night. When I got on must have scared the newbe off, he only played one game with me.Must of got tiered of dieing. LOL

We were on one night and all I used was a pistol. People kept leaving the server after I became high scorer.

Played last night after I un-installed the UO 1.51 patch ( Long story that! ) and reran the 1.5 patch. Only played 2 maps, but kicked some butt, even without a warmup.
Man I love mp_rocket!

I like play with people I know. And since you guys have your own server, it just makes it more convient. I still play on a few other servers. I just like yours. It's the first in my list. and the people, for the most part, are awesome. What else can I say.

I would like to say that the 125fps jump is a cheat you have to go into the consol and change your settings I could not get mine to do it.( Com_max FPS 0-whatever. defalt is 85

This is the correct one
to set your max fps

in your console type this
/set com_maxfps (then what you want to set it to or 0 to unlock it )

It just puts a cap on the Frame Rate.
so if you set:
/com_maxFPS 85
the the maximum Frame Rate CoD will allow is 85 fps
but if all you can mantain is 25-30 fps then that is all
you'll get.
but, if you set like this:
/com_maxFPS 15
at this point you might be able to get a consitant fram rate of 25-30 fps but since you set you maxFPS to 15 the game will only give you 15 fps.
if you set:
/com_maxFPS to 0
then yes you will have unlimited framerates cacording to the game. but you are still limited to the hardware.

This is still a cheat as we see it and will be fixed or set so you can't do it on the server.

honestly I am not sure if it can be stopped, because its an flaw in the game engine itself. Like it says in the link I posted it is taking advatange of how the game engine does math.
It's a noosence kind of like bunny hopping, theres not much you can do about it except warn, kick, and so-on.
And I am not sure it can be detected, except by watching players, a visual check to see if they're jumping on to places that are not normally accessable.
I personlly wouldn't call it cheating but at the same time it is giving an advatage to one player that the others might not have, and I do believe that CAL has made rules againt it.
Some call it straif jumping, other call it "*"FPS Jumping. But it is all the same. Boom you believe it is cheating, I am not sure if I'd call it cheating personlly, but it is taking advatage non-the-less.

You can set it up to use the servers files not yours.

Oh, I was unaware of that abiliity. I assumed that you loaded and ran local cvars. I didn't think you could load remote cvars, but even if you loaded a remote cvar how does that stop people from changing variables during gameplay from the console?

It was rather fun to have that many clan members on at one time! The humour is that I checked the server about 30 minutes after we all left, and there was nobody out there. Guess they all came out to play A! and 303. ;)
