Title: Random Flying Mount Macro
Post by: Gator on December 21, 2009, 08:48:33 PM
Here is the mount macro I'm using in Wow right now:

/castrandom [nomounted, flyable] Onyx Netherwing Drake, Cobalt Netherwing Drake, Veridian Netherwing Drake, Winged Steed of the Ebon Blade
/dismount

It can easily be enhanced to use your flying mounts where available and your ground mounts if you are in pre-BC.  You could also set it up so it will not dismount if you accidentally hit the mount button while you are in mid-flight.  This killed me more than once.  lol

Enjoy!

Even though the randomize is supposed to work I wonder how it's actually done behind the scenes.  Seems that is doesn't work as good as I had hoped.  Maybe that is because mounting and dismounting several times back to back freaks it out and sometimes I get the same mount 4 or 5 times in a row.  Too bad the randomize function doesn't keep track of what it's last choice was so if it randomized and got the same choice, it could randomize again and get something different.

I have seen it do the same thing a few times.  But only when doing it quickly, one after another.

I did also do it for the ground mounts also.
Code: [Select]
/castrandom [nomounted] Armored Brown Bear, Swift Frostsaber, Swift Mistsaber, Swift Stormsaber, Swift White Steed, Swift Palomino
/dismount
