Update on the event.
the C0D4 tourney is at 11pm.
they could really use some help tearing down on Saturday. There was a whole whopping 6 of us to unload and setup last night and I am heading over there shortly to get back on it this morning.
I am VERY certain that Curium will not turn down any offers to help setup. We had to quit at 1:30 this morning because the employee at the Digz needed to leave, but we still have a lot to do.

Wefinished 3rd for the tournament, but we did well. the second match we lost 13-11 and it was close the whole way. We led the match several times, and they just pulled it together at the end. Also it was on a tough map that we hadn't planned for. Next time we cover all the maps and have shceduled practices.
Grats to n1c for leading a team for the first time as well He led the second team, and it was made up of pugs. All things considered they did well. We did certainly miss our crew though.

Netwar was my first LAN event and I was on n1c's team, we did pretty good the last four matches we played. Be glad to help ya guys out anytime, I know I had fun! :D

Thanks for the post Acidex! It was good to meet you as well. Although I really could have done without you fragging me all that much. It got old. :D
It you watch the Ventrilo monitor on the left side of this site, you can get an idea of when someone is out playing and if you have XFire I am sure we can get you hooked up with people in this motley crew who have it as well. There is almost always someone out there playing something.
Oh yeah forgot to fill that in... n1c is a cake.

Now thats funny crap! You guys are a trip and what a hella long workweek >.< I'll definitely be down with some CoD4 or whatever. My Xfire is acid3x go ahead and add me I should be around this weekend when I have a day off... Any new games you guys are looking forward to comming out? I'm kinda skeptical of the Rainbow Six series for muliplayer on PC nowadays. Ubisoft has been dropping the ball for a while now... Well see ya all on the flipside! :roll:

To be honest I am mostly focused on my business and when I play I am either in Guild Wars or CoD4. Boomslang tries to keep me up to date on the games that are coming.
Crysis looked really good, but look at the beast of a machine Boom needs to run it!

That game is notorious for tearing up hardware. Crysis is cool and all, but I haven't seen it cheap enough to buy it, I was in the multiplayer beta a while back and its just not a strategic team game like CoD4. Although the "nano suit" is badass.
Next week I'll have to throw my old nVidia 7900GT in while I ship my 8800GT in to get swapped for a 9800GTX from the manufacturer. Might not be gaming much since I'm moving into a new place at the end of next week as well. Once I get settled and have an even newer GFX card its gonna be on! Hope I get close to 100fps in CoD4 that would be sweet!
Dont play guildwars but have heard its pretty cool. I get my MMO on in Lord of the Rings Online style. Not to big a fan of CSS either but I do have TF2, UT3 and lots of other shooters.
Off to throw some rocks in Elkhorn, nuthing like beers and bowling!

Nice rig you have there. I am running dual 7900GTS and looking to upgrade one of them to a 880GTX at some point in the next few months. no wonder you were in my face so much during the party, no lag.
