Whatever / well, time to tell you all....
« on: February 28, 2007, 05:00:05 PM »
my friends,
I have to deliver this aweful, depressing, tragic, news...

...im moving to Kansas City....

...yes, i know what youre thinking, "why, how...how can you leave us behind like that?".  Well, I feel that I need to get away for a bit. I feel that since I lost my place as the top FPS guy in the universe, I have to remove myself from this location to re-find my chi....

Actually, my friend from college is starting a video production company down there and since I write music for soundtracks, we'd make a great team. I will probably try to help with extreme lan KC if they'd allow me to volenteer.

this move will take place in about 3 months, so we will have to get together sometime for another LANbush before that time....at least i'm hoping.

LAN Parties / fun lan proposition
« on: August 29, 2006, 05:44:48 PM »
Hey guys, I was wondering if maybe we should get together and have a fun LAN somwhere. I only have a 1 bed apartment but I could hold about 10 peeps, but I would like to have it held at someones house. my bro, travis, has a huge basment that is clear and could hold about 45 people. The only problem is that we dont have tables for everyone. SO what I was thinking is that if we could each bring our own card table ( got mine), it would work the best (or if we had access to long tables that would even be better).

Just a thought, but reguardless, I miss you guys and your LANs.

LAN Parties / MicsFragFest is fun fun.....fun. So go!
« on: January 05, 2005, 08:47:25 PM »
Hey, everybody. Mics' Frag fest at the Base lake pavillion is happen'n this 15th of Janurary and there will be a lot of cool games played like COD, Tron, C&C generals, Dawn of War (that will be fun), UT2k4 (yes....four) and some other games of any interest.

Please come to this if you have the day free cause:
1. If you're 21+ you can drink.
2. They will probably give out food based on attendence.
3. You can place bets on live poodle fights taking place there.

With the acception of "3" there are great reasons to go. so GO!

I will also be hosting UT2k4, COD, CS:S, and Dawn of War tournys'.

LAN Parties / Dawn of War fun tourny in bellevue on the 23rd of Oct
« on: October 09, 2004, 11:11:09 PM »
Hi people,
I am organizing a fun "Dawn of War: Warhammer 40,000" tourny in Bellevue, NE at the base lake pavillion on saturday the 23rd of Oct. There will be drinks [beer and rootbeer] and games (any games you want to play) however, I dont think there will be internet there, but it will be fun reguardless. I will also be organizing a 1v1 DM tourny in UT, UT2k3, UT2k4, just for fun. There might be prizes but probably not unless there are quite a few people showing up. If you are thinking about going to this LAN party, go to Mic's Frag Fest and sign up.
It will only be 10 dollars to enter.

LAN Parties / deemer demos for your pleasure
« on: September 27, 2004, 04:22:44 AM »
After trys and trys (and trys again), I was able to pull off some cool stunts with the redeemer for UT2k3 in Asbesteos, Antalus, and Plunge. I like plunge the best because it reminds me of a pinball machine.

download them here:
Antalus
Asbesteos
Plunge

If you don't know how to play the demos, place them into the system folder in the UT2003 directory and then start UT2k3 and goto the console (which is the button right under the ESC button) and type:
demoplay reedman and then it will play. If you want to stop the demo, type stopdemo and if you want to record your own demos, type demorec name and it will be saved into the system folder under the name you gave it.

« on: August 29, 2004, 01:14:11 PM »
To help me with bracketing, I would like to know who will be playing what. You can be in all of them, I just want to know the tournament that you are primarily comming for.

LAN Parties / F3 game schedule.....
« on: August 08, 2004, 07:05:52 PM »
I was thinking maybe it would be best to have CS 5v5 at 8:30pm on the first night, followed by doom 3 then UT2k3 IRON MAN on the second day when people are awake, then UT2k3 1v1 on the second evening (around 4:30ish).
These are just thoughts of mine, and if you have any suggestions tell us.

LAN Parties / Mic\'s Frag Fest 1v1 2v2 and CTF tourny
« on: February 15, 2004, 11:29:34 PM »
Hey everyone,
Mic's Frag Fest is comming up right around the corner and I'm talking to them about haveing me set up the 1v1 2v2 deathmatch again and to have possible cash prizes for the winners too. After those tournies, we'll probably be playing some COD and BF1942 too ( i know i will).

The last Mic's FF we had was small but fun and well organized, plus it'll run smoothly because I am going to make cds with the updates and the 2k4 demo on it so everyone can update everything (if they hadnt' done so yet).

So yeah! Come on out and support the local LAN community, Plus you can spread the word about the next A! freedom frag fest.

go here for more info on signing up.
