Title: Hacked... Again.

Alright, so I am pissed.

Tonight I found out my website was hacked for the 2nd time this month.

Everything that I've seen is linked to an arabic website which I did a whois on. Hack this site if you want but does anyone know how to ban IP's coming from countries outside of the US or know a better and more secure way of running a website?

I am done with Wordpress and will not be using their service any more and unfortunately will be leaving my website down for now until I find a better way to manage it.

On a side note, the main way into my site isn't hacked, just the Wordpress.

Have you done all the updates to WordPress and notified them that there is a hole in there software?  I find that they may know about it and have issued an update. Everytime this site has been hacked it was because of the forumes software not the site, and it was because I was behind on versions.

It is as up to date as possible, I have emailed them about the hack but I don't think I'll hear a response from them.

Also, did you post in the forums?  that is sometimes where the real response will show.

Wordpress has worked well for a lot of people for a long time.  Check the forums for any news, and post there about your problems.  Make sure you also email them for a private conversation about the hacks.

I was looking at wordpresses forums and a lot of people have been hacked. There was one page that listed a bunch of things I can do to secure my site a little bit better so I will see how it does before I redo my whole site.

So after doing a bunch of changes that where recomended, I was hacked again... 3rd time this month.
