The one thing that isn't mentioned is price.....you could probably buy several reliable cars for the price of just one of these.  Intel's high end Icore7 still prices out at $995.80 on the web....

Eight core CPUs have been on their way for some time, but the cost is high.  However, it will drop.  The nice part is that the real estate is saves can be used to have two 8 core in place.  :D
