Well, I kinda wanted that game but that made my decision.

I had thought about playing it but not anymore.  I will never pay for a game that runs ads in it.  If it were freeware I might change my mind but you could be damned sure that I would have that port blocked while playing it.

Eh, I don't care that they "might" not take personal info. I'm not paying for a game that wants to spam me with ads.

The presence of Ad-ware is a deal sealer for me.  I will NOT be getting this game at all.  I watched Boom play this at a LAN party this weekend, and it looked really good, but I am VERY picky about where my personal info is sent and this is not within my tolerable limits.

Yeah, and it looked good!

But if the full version has adware, I don't care how good it looks... I ain't buying.

I won't buy either. Games are for entertainment not ADVERTISEMENT!

Not only that.. The price should come down, because if they are getting kickbacks for the regional advertisements being used, they should not have to have the prices so high.. . :)

I would agree about the price.  If you are subsidizing the software with Ad revenue at my expense, then I should either a) get a lower price on the software, or b) get a share of that revenue.

Not because it's fair, but because that is how I want it.  I support any company making money, but I also support the consumer making their decision with their wallet.

I totally agree on this.  IPs are public knowledge, but taking your IP is the start.  Then a little more and a little more until you have to give a DNA sample to register the game.

There are better ways for them to make money.  Follow the WOW example and have servers they can charge fees for or something.  Don't AD me to death.
