It appears that Curium found out about SMF as well.  Now he needs to learn about TinyPortal.
Been using SMF for over a year now. ;)  I'll look into TinyPortal, thanks.

I'm thinking about it. I really want to win the mod contest. I have totally redone my case. (nite glow paint and new windows). The poor internet connection really turn me off last time.
I really hope you do win the mod contest this time.
It wasn't necessarily a poor Internet connection, it became poor when over 150 people saturated it and the load balancer we were trying to use couldn't handle it.  I am looking into getting my hands on an F5 Load Balancer with Link Controller module or at least a NetEnforcer, I know dealers for both. An F5 LTM is over $20,000, so I think I may have to just borrow that. Hopefully the Internet connection for the next event will be good.  But then again, who needs a great Internet connection at a LAN party!  :)

Anderson, you might be thinking of HTML and not HTTP.

Anyways, if I changed the COD:UO tourney to COD2 at NETWAR X would you guys be for it or against it?

And if you guys want your COD:UO server converted to COD2, have Zwarrior contact me.

JollyRoger ,

Why are you changing DNS servers all the time??  If your having so many problems, you should just run your own.  Works great because you can flush bind's cache when you need an updated dns record instead of waiting 24 hours for it to be purged.

Wolverine, should have his line tested.  Could be interference or weak signal (have him check his dB level at 192.168.100.1 if he has a motorola modem).  His node might also be saturated, might need to have his line put on a different node.  Or his cable modem is bad, have him take his modem and computer to somebody else's house in Omaha and try it there.  That will let you know if it's the line or the modem.

You guys can't handle my pug :rpg:

I changed the time for COD UO to 7:30pm.  Does this work better for you guys?  And if you want me to play COD UO and get my butt kicked then you have to play BF2 against us.

COD2 should be out before NETWAR X, might have to switch the tourney to that if everyone feels it's good.

I still have those DVD's in Divx video files on my computer from when I made those DVD's.  Anyone can copy them from my computer at the next LAN that I am at.

Is it just as easy going as ambush?

If you mean by everyone playing games casually and just plain having a good time, yes it is.

I had a lot of fun at the LAN guys, thanks for putting on another good one,  I always enjoy myself there, along with the others who attend with me.

ZWarrior, I had fun trying to knife you in the back in FarCry, but I think you always turned around fast enough to get me, to bad for the others who can't do that. :)

I would like to invite everyone on the Ambush Forums and the Ambush guys for 34 hours of straight gaming at NETWAR 8.0: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut. Get yourself registered on our web site, then prepare yourself for 2 days of LANing action on May 20th.

I hope that the Ambush clan can attend to play in our COD: UO tournament, because we have this clan based out of Offut Air Force Base that has won the COD tournament twice in a row now, so I was hoping that you guys could give them a run for their money.  As usual, there is going to be a UT2004 tournament.

As always, the NETWAR staff we'll see you all at the next Ambush LAN Party.
