7 weeks until the day. I you all are getting you teams together and getting some practice, cause you will need it!!!! I expect this to be the most competative tournament we have had to date. I know the Ambush "Beta" team will be practicing and have the title to defend, but I guarantee that they will have to work to keept that title.
C'mon wusserine, draggin, shovel, and mouse, give up now and save yourself the embarassment. You may have the gadgets, you may have the vid cards, but you won't have the title! You will go down!

Tis True, Tis True. The so called 'Beta' team will be there in all it's glory. I think by then we will have a different name.
I believe F3 2002 will have even more of the best of the best to compete with.

(Great is GOOD but you are talking about playing against the BEST CTF team from the last F3 Tourney...Don't forget you are talking about the champs here...)

(DOH! I know how you play too, oh and this reference of THEY..who is they? a bunch of chickens! You don't ever mention who your team REALLY is...just Morpheus and Opie is all I know..)

6) There is a great strategic thinker on the team. (It must be someone I don't know..Can't be Morpheus or Opiesilver...because if either one of you are considering yourselves the 'strategic thinker' no wonder you got spanked at the last game day! :) )
5) Wolverine isn’t on the team. (Again, just to reiterate, Wolverine was on the winning team and you guys weren't, Proof is in the pudding)

I don't need to wait to hear who they are because they both have already called me to validate your credentials. Of course the KID was told that at times you can be a real whiner. Especially if there is things going on in the game that you are unable to do yourself. In regards to the second KID, I told him that he will have his hands full watching OPIES back since he tends to run out on his own without thought of what his teammates are doing. I think together you will make a great team and one that we will especally enjoy compeating against. Dont forget to mention to them that practice is tonight and beleive me you better practice. Look forward to hearing more about your Quest.

Question Morpheus? Why is it that my son is now asking if I would be offended if he was asked to compete against me? If you are planning on adding my son to your team, keep in mind that he is only 7 years old and you would need parent approval. My reponse to you will be no way, he is to good to allow him to be on your team. :rolling

Wow, that's harsh, I wanted to keep Kid Antrim a secret, unfortunately he won't be able to make it. I didn't realize I was such a whiner. I must have learned that from Wusserine :cry: . As for your son Spade, I haven’t spoken with him, so I don’t know why he would be asking you about competing against you. You are right, he is good, but not too good. My “quest fairs well. As we all know talk is cheap, the truth will come out on the 21st.

OK Morph I must come clean....I didn't speak to anyone including Kid A....:rolling I just had a feeling he might be a canidate and thought I would pull on the chain and see what came out. LOL Guess I was right on that one. :) As for my son, he hasnt said a word in fact I dont think he is old enough to play in the tournament is he? I didn't mean to blow you plan or anything, was just having some fun playing with you. Good luck on forming your team and I hope you get some good ones. Hope to see ya online tonight. :hotbouns:

I don't think we actually have an age limit on the contestants. The only req we have is that the players must sign the form, and if they are under 18, then a guardian must sign the form with them. Which reminds me, I need to get that form online so that peeps can bring it signed!

Hey Morp, didn't we take Wuss and Spade 3 out of 5 games last night? Or was it 4 out of 6? I don't remember exactly. Had Wuss stopped crying about Spade not having his gamevoice working maybe I could have kept track better. He just kept going on about if Spade had it working they would have won. We had it working and he was on our chat. He still couldn't stop us! And he was spying!!!! It's just like I always thought, no SKILLS!:P

Hey Opie, I think you really are not remembering but let me remind you. The one game you did win, you won 5 to 3. It wasnt that you won 5 games to our 3. ;) Gamevoice would have helped some but what will help the most is when there are no BOTS and it comes down to human to human game play, that is what I enjoy and look forward to the Lan proving grounds. Good playing last night BTW, good thing I have some more time to practice HUH. :beer:

Yes I was on the same chat as you..but i wasn't able to hear Morpheus all the time. He would click his button so i couldn't hear...which was VERY smart.. (Opie must have told him to do that) :) LOL
Having Gamevoice to communicate and not having bots in a game DOES make a difference in the overall game play. Which makes the Game day, tons more fun. Person against person, gamer against gamer, comrade against comrade....:)
You weren't dominating us. Morpheus still gets that little feeling in his stomach, when he hears my translocator or sees my name. LOL :)

Hopefully tonight will prove to be different, If all goes well, I should have GV up and working as well as finish with mapping my keys, mouse, and norstomo. Ummm, I think your forgetting both Zeet and Spade who were also on your team.
And as for tonight, don't you think that you 6 on us 2 was just a bit unfair? I mean Boomslang and Dragon Breath were of no help to you, but they still got a lucky shot or two in. You guys must have really been scared.

true...the teams were a little uneven with all humans on one team and then Opie and Morph on the other.. :swear:
But after everyone else left.. it was Opie and Morph with bots VS. Spade and Wolverine with bots... :fight:
(i think Cox was having some bandwith issues....because we couldn't hear Spade most of the time):jawdrop:

The winners were Spade and Wolverine... and Spade and I weren't able to talk to each other last night.
Had a blast! It was so much fun, and the challenge was great! :):beer:

I would have to say :swear: Opie just wouldn't die very easy! I recall at least 2 time that as you were running with the flag that I would translocate in behind you and then Flak you from behind at least 4 times almost point blank and to no avail! :flak: Then you turn around and Flak me once and I die?????What's up with that? :mad: In spite of game voice not working due to bandwidth or something, it was allot of fun playing. Pings were much better then in the past I think for all of us. I am struggling a bit with the Razor, having never gamed with one but loved the smoothness. I just dont like the side buttons yet! Especailly the right one, kept hitting it by accident:rolleyes: Great gaming, Great fun, and I loved the Scores!!!:rolling

I too am experiencing the woes of the Razer. My hand is really hurting today, it's such a different position. Hopefully I will be used to it by the 21st. It was great gaming, especially the last match. I feel sorry for those team that have not been practicing...they are going to get slaughtered!

I've got to admit that I too had a new mouse for last night, but it was not a razor. I've got a new 5 button intellimouse. The scrol wheel is soooo stiff! I really have a hard time changing weapons last night when I wanted to.
Anyone have any idea how to program those extra buttons to dodge?:compute:

Check the score area that I linked, and you willl see I was talking about the day before when it was Wolvy and I with bots against Opie, Zeet ( YES, Zeet was actually out there! ), and Morpheus with bots.
