During these serious times, people of all faiths should remember these four
religious truths:

 1. Muslims do not recognize Jews as God's chosen people.

 2. Jews do not recognize Jesus as the Messiah.

 3. Protestants do not recognize the Pope as the leader of
the Christian world.

 4. Baptists do not recognize each other at Hooters

I saw this over at XI and had to pass it on.

This is not the way to do it. I don't have time now but there is another way to keep it on but limit the pop up screens. Thats what I did and it works very well.

PS. SP1 fixed my ram issue I now see all 4 gigs. Thanks ZW

« on: November 15, 2008, 07:08:54 AM »
That was the whole thing. They are just telling you it not their problem. go to the NV forms and there are pages of people having the same problem. This was on my XP o/s. I did a fresh install of vista and have not had problems with the drivers so far. I am starting to have problems in xp. DX crashes NV errors. Might be time for a fresh install. I will say most of the problems I have had are with the beta drivers but when they come on line they still caused me some problems. I have for the most part change to vista. crysis is still a little bugy with the console when it comes up.

I went out and got it. It is better than the beta. I do like it but COD4 still has it's place with newer weapons. Game play is about the same. I thing you will not be disappointed.

I did the beta testing for this game. Plays just like COD4. But had more perks and 8 custom slots. 8 kills and release the dogs. New patch was just released at over 3 GB. Lots of bugs? The beta with 3 maps was over 3 GB. I will wait till the price drops like I said no difference COD4 and COD5 are the same game with different guns.

That because NV can't write good drivers.

With the weather turning cold it looks like I will not be able to come. I have to turn the boiler on Friday. I was going to do it this weekend but with the nice weather I couldn't justify spending a grand to do it Early.

I dont have vista but my NV dirver run fine in XP

Im thinking about making the switch mainly for DX10

Wait for Windows7 with DX11
The difference is not that much for 9 to 10
The NV driver issue could be my motherboard chip set.
Andy I bet your loptop has an nv vedio card.

Vista is stable now. More so than XP. The main problem is NV drives keep crashing both Vista and XP. My next V card will not be a NV card they just can't write good drivers. Yes MS could do better and open up the code so they could do better.
