Title: Cracked ntoskrnl.exe but...
Post by: JollyRoger on March 22, 2005, 09:40:53 PM: I got in a changed the start up logo for winXP it looks like this.

But I can't get it back in to the 'ntoskrnl.exe' I keep geting this error:

"Access voilation at address 0042791 in module 'Reshacker.exe' Write of address 0173B000."

Any ideas?

Post by: JollyRoger on March 30, 2005, 02:29:28 PM: I didn't get the new screen to work. I keep having problems with my pallets. If you were to look at the image just after you take it out of the 'ntoskrnl.exe' file it is all black. You need to load a new pallet. a 16 color pallet that is spacific to the image to see it. Then once you're done editing the image you need to load the all black pallet again, and save it. That is were my problem comes in. My all black pallet seem to be messed up. So when I insert the image back in to the file it causes a a violation error. So I gave up, for now I have other things to work on.
