(Why do I feel like I should be whistling the theme to "The Andy Griffin Show"?) If we extend the hours for the events, then we, the admins, can play as well, sometimes. The absolute best way to get to play Zeet, Rogue, and myself, is to attend other events the we visit.

Hi Z, I used to attend all the 55th VAS', but they seem to have gone into hiding these days. If you'll direct me to the next LAN party you guys are attending I'll meet you there.

It is certainly about time for Rogue to post one his summarys of just how the game went down. You know how they all end of course but the reading is like a movie that has you sitting on the edge of your seat just waiting for the next line. If we dont hear from him soon, I am going to have to write one on his behalf. :|

One other thing that I saw at the last LAN party that really annoyed me;
Stupid round tables!!!!:mad:
It made for power strip hell and interferance from other monitors in such close proximity to mine. ie..touching mine.
For half the games my display had the shimmies.:mad::mad:

We are working on getting other tables for the future at the church, but since we don't have the tables ourselves, we have to live with it.
However, we would prefer to use the long tables should we ever by some ourselves.

Hey I see Kmart on 132 and Center is going out of buisness and everything is 30 to 70 percent off. I will stop and see if they have tables....8)

MOH is lame compaired to SOF2 put the 101 patch in and you have a kick@#$ CS game play upgrade I have 180 megs of new maps one is the cs _dust map and the new snipercity. PS NEED TO KNOW WHAT VER. THE GAMES ARE WE DON'T WANT WOLF TO GET MAD OH MAN!

25 years old games, and it was an Atari 800XL COMPUTER. It has a blown video processor, and if I could find one, I might even repair it. Has built in Atari BASIC, and a whole whopping 64K of RAM!

Hey ZW, I will have to look but I had the base station for the Atari but did not have any cartriges. I couldnt give it away and may have thrown it but will check. I had all the controllers too. It may have been a little newer then yours???? I will look.

My all time favorite Atari game is Yars Revenge. I had a score so high on it that I sent a picture of it in to the Atari mag that was out way back then and it was published! I appearantly had one of the top 10 all time scores.

Hey, what can I say? I got bitten by the gaming bug at age 5 when my dad sat me in front of a hugh Burroughs mainframe and I played Star Trek with only a keyboard and line feed printer. It was at Matewan National Bank in Logan, WV. I was amazed that a person could actually play a game on a computer. And, oh BTW, it was two years before Atari or Commadore hit the sceen.

well My first wasent that old...
I think it was a P133 but it could have been B4 the pentium was introdused
it was like 1993 i think

My first was a commador 64, then a 128, finally a 486 with windows. I hated computers until windows.

I actually would go out to the Corp of Engineers office and play those games on their Burroughs when my friends mom went to work. I remember those things.

i had an atari....a commodore.. i think i had an apple pc.... and then my brother had a 286 wake back when.. I remember that one because i played the very first 3d first person type shooter/role playing game series... Eye of the Beholder. Graphics were pixily but not bad for the first 3d game ever.
About a year agao, I found a deal at Babbages with 20 games for $9.99 . It had that series in it.. WOW did i have some memories... :) :) :) :) I'm feeling old.. i played that game ...umm...almost 15 years ago......
