NETWAR has become part of the Intel LANFest organization and events. What does this mean? Nothing but good news all around. Intel LANFest through their sponsors cover all of our event expenses. What does this mean for you? Your entire door entry fee that you pay, will go 100% towards charity. For this event we are donating to United Way of the Midlands. Not only does your door entry go to charity, Intel also matches your donation, doubling it. For example, if we were to sell out our 240 BYOC seats, that would bring in $6,000, with Intel matching we would end up donating $12,000 to the charity after the event. Very cool! Not only do the LANFest sponsors facilitate our event by offsetting the expenses to run it, but they also donate some AMAZING prizes to give away to you the attendee. I am talking serious prizes: processors, solid state hard drives, memory, computer cases, power supplies, video cards, and more! In VERY large amounts – let’s just say if you were to attend you are VERY likely to walk away with something awesome and many times worth your event entry fee. This is great news for our events and you the attendee, I can see our events in Omaha growing very rapidly. But we need your support to get us started and help us reach our charity donation goals. What do you say? Easy enough right? Register for the event, pay your entry fee towards charity, come play video games for 26 amazing hours of fun, and head home with an amazing door prize.

Sadly I too will not be at this lanparty either. Perhaps I will pick myself up a Surly Big Dummy later this year or next and can start attending these events way out west. Then the next thing would be games. I basically only play bfbc2 and borderlands anymore(and still the original bf1942 and ut).
