On the other hand...I don't feel the same satisfaction when I artillery someone as I do when I watch the missile become one with the hull of their vehicle of choice.

Sweet!  I kind of like commander because you can see your enemy.  You don't have to go hunting for them.

Last night we played a bit of BF2.  It was total pownville.  I have to admit the odds were stacked though.  ZW and I on one side with Ken and LoneWolf (who kept losing connection) on the other.  Might have been more fair if LoneWolf wasn't losing connection and had his keys mapped.  : )

All I remember is someone saying "LoneWolf is in a plane"...and 2 seconds later someone saying "Never mind...DarthGator just took him out".  (please allow a 10% probability of slight wording error on the later statement)  Wording 100% correct or not the hills were alive with the sound of Gator pown!!!

I'll be attending as well.  I can't wait to mix it up a bit in BattleField 2 and COD 2.  Should be a blast.  Will be great to finally meet everyone I've been chatting with and taking bullets from all this time.

We had a pretty good time last night shooting it out.  Will anyone be out there tonight for practice?  I think we should talk over some strategy and start working out a plan of attack for COD2 and BattleField2.
