World of Warcraft / Death Knight Tanking / DPS Builds
« on: January 05, 2010, 12:40:20 PM »
I'm working on getting my T9 set for tanking.  Mainly so I can get in on a heroics quickly instead of waiting in line.  Tanks get the breaks I hear.  Anyway, I'm looking for good tanking / dps builds that some of you might be currently using to help me out.  I've visited many websites on the topic and the latest is from "dominate your server" on a frost build as the best DPS as of patch 3.3 if you have best gear in slot.

If you can please post your build and possibly even your skill rotations you use.

Thanks!

World of Warcraft / Random Flying Mount Macro
« on: December 21, 2009, 08:48:33 PM »
Here is the mount macro I'm using in Wow right now:

/castrandom [nomounted, flyable] Onyx Netherwing Drake, Cobalt Netherwing Drake, Veridian Netherwing Drake, Winged Steed of the Ebon Blade
/dismount

It can easily be enhanced to use your flying mounts where available and your ground mounts if you are in pre-BC.  You could also set it up so it will not dismount if you accidentally hit the mount button while you are in mid-flight.  This killed me more than once.  lol

Enjoy!

World of Warcraft / Ok, I did it, I gave in...
« on: August 25, 2009, 08:17:30 AM »
I gave in.  After months of being able to stay away I renewed my wow account for 3 months.  I've come to the conclusion that no other game will fill the need like wow.  I'm no longer on-call and I've been working for my new boss for almost a year already.  Chel is going back to school for her masters so I'll have LOTS of time on my hands in the evenings.  :)  Hope to see some of you out there!

Software / Software Backup Solution for Windows Vista
« on: July 10, 2008, 03:18:47 PM »
For years now I've used Acronis True Image to backup my gaming rig.  I just ordered a new machine that has Windows Vista Home Premium on it and it will be here in about a week.  Does anyone know of a good backup software that can make both full and incremental backups, while also allowing for easy restores of either the entire system or individual files.  I'm looking around for something that I could use across a network as well.

I've been looking at Norton Ghost.  Does anyone have any experience with it?

Hardware / Game Consoles
« on: July 30, 2007, 04:50:16 PM »
Ok...I know that game consoles are the Devil but Saturday I picked up the best exercise machine I've ever had.  Yes, a Nintendo Wii.  Needless to say after hours of boxing, tennis, and golf I've screwed up my back, my shoulders, and my knees.

I will say it's also the best party favor I think I've ever owned.  It's hilarious watching people making fools of themselves playing the games.

It comes with Wii Sports (baseball, tennis, bowling, golf, and boxing).  I also picked up Call of Duty 3, which is awesome.  It's a totally different kind of game when it's interactive and you are actually looking down the sight of your rifle...err...ummm...remote.

I haven't gone online to play any games yet but I'm sure that won't be far down the road.

I think this <a href="http://www.9xmedia.com/pages-Build_a_system/X-Top---10over10over10.html">ONE[/url] is mine.  Too bad the games don't fully support it.

Let me know what you think of this.  I've attached the most spectacular death scene I've viewed yet in BF2.
