Lets be honest, we're all geeks here. Self admitted and proud. With that in mind I have found something in Omaha that I thought of making my self. I'm planing on taking a look at it in the next couple of days or next week.

I will have an update soon.

Where's the update?
I never knew we had a place like this. I may have to check out one of their meetings.

Yeah, sorry I had a very busy moment there with setting up a new job and a few other side projects. The space is really cool. They have been in town for about five years. They are on a gradual up hill curve with memberships and tool/equipment donations.
They have things like:
Drill Press
Band Saw
Chop Saw
CNC Mill
3D Printer
Electronics Bench with Oscilloscope
Hand tools
Small welder
Lots of parts for fabrication of electrinics
Metal work
Plastics.
The Space is small but functional, and they are looking for a new larger space. Worth a stop in if your curious.
It's $35 a month to be a key holder and have access anytime
$50 a month to be a Contributor...not sure all the benifits...
Very reasonable.

Very curious, but not much of a maker at this point. Although it might be nice to learn a few skills to be able to make things.
