you tried to upgade but without a slight mod to the motherboard the GF2 wouldn't work. and Dad is to cheap to upgrade the motherboard and processor for $125

I would suggest a GeForce FX 5200. You can get one right about $59.99. It is AGP 8X, Directx 9, 128mb of ram... Good buy!

Actually, I believe that it IS an Audigy 2. The person I got it from wanted a different color face for their controls so they bought what they thought was a newer version of the card, but was actually the same model. They didn't need 2 so they gave me one. I just need time to install it.
