Let's see....

Wolverine is on Nostromo
Morpheus is on Nostromo
Spade is on Nostromo
Spade Jr. don't know, he kicks anyway!

Give us a couple more weeks and we'll kick Alphas the Nostromo Way!

We'll hear, how do you guys move so quick?

How'd they get our flag so quick?

Nuts! The spade telefragged me again!

Wolverine?  Where did you get me from?

And from Zeet, "I can't seem to find any hiding places that Morpheus doesn't root me out and frag me."

And Jr will be saying, c'mon guys let some of them through so I can frag them and get some points.  We've scored 4 times, and I still haven't even seen the other team.

The BETA NOSTROMO'S
SPADE - :transloc:
WOLVERINE - :rpg:
JR - :flak:
MORPHEUS - :flak:

WE WILL DOMINATE!!!!

Wow.  I think that maybe you did take the green pill.  I mean to think that one of those toys will give you an advantage on skill?    Hope this isn't you next game day----->:crash:

No Opee, :crash: was my last game day.

Since then, new case, new power supply, 2 new case fans, new cpu, new heatsink/fan, and just for fun new cdrw.

Now as far as "toys" a hammer is only a toy in the hand of a child.  In the hand of a professional it is a powerful tool.

Prepare to be taught what a "toy" can do!

In the spirit of real-life examples, anyone can build a box, but to have a true work of art you really need to have skill.  :sniper:  Anyone can open a restaraunt and be a professional, but how many of those professionals are true chefs?  It's the skill level that sets people apart from the rest of the crowd.  Just like Alpha and Beta.  Alpha only plays with three full time squad members and still wins.  (Dare I say it?)  Does Beta?

Actually, I'm not positive but the real "Beta" team is Wolverine, Spade,  Boomslang, and Rogue.  So, Morpheus and Spade Jr. were just available.  So as far as squad members, Beta only had 2 full time members for the last match up.

There will be a rematch with the teams that went against each other before. However, the teams that are now named Alpha and Beta will be updated....possibly.. we will see

The rematch is no longer just for bragging rights, but for taunting rights.  If my team were to somehow loose, I'd be like a wounded guppy in a shark tank.  I just can't let that happen.

It is kind of amazing that you, Opiesilver, have by far been the one running his mouth about how great the Alpha Team can demolish the Beta Team.  There hasn't been that much talk from your team mates...  :x

You are good, :buttrock: I would admit that, but before you make yourself out to be some BIG BAD WOLVERINE(like myself ...shagrin :hotbouns:)   , I would make sure your team can protect you. Because at this point if you spawn  in front of your team mates, Your BIG, 50 lb bowling ball head is going to get in the way of them helping you.     :blob:

"We could probably beat the Beta team but WE CAN'T SHOOT THEM because Opie's Bowling ball head is in the way.... Maybe we should have told Opie to not taunt so much.. Now we have to try and play like a God, but we all know we aren't that good!":swear:

The (current) Alpha team is darn good.

But I would have to add, that when 3 adults and a 6 year old are able to hold 4 adults that are THAT good as Opiesilver has very gracefully communicated, I would say that either 3 things occurred at the Armegeddon gameday...

1) The 6 year old is REALLY that good and can keep up with the 4 adults.. (do you want to admit this? probably not)

2) The 3 adults on the Beta team were able to compensate for the lack of wisdom of the 6 year old, and were able to keep up with 4 adults.( you probably don't want to admit the other guys were doing THAT good either )

3) That the Alpha team just had never played together enough to be able to demolish the Beta team... (COP OUT...BIG ONE)

1&2) As I remember the conversations, JRs  main job was to keep the flag in your base, not ours. Not a simple job, trust me, I know! :D And it MUST be said, for what he lacks in tactics, JR makes up for in tenacity.  That boy doesn't give up, and I for one am not too proud to admint that he is good, and has whupped me a time or too!

3) We never did practice together, unlike Beta who practiced together quite a bit prior to the event. Remember, I manage the game server, and see the logs. :D  So now it comes down to this, how did a team that didn't get to practice together "demolish" a team who did?  133t 2|<i11z!  (For those who don't understand Leetspeak, that was "Leet Skills!") :P

And to wrap it up in a neat little package, I have two words that strike fear into the heart of all who face me...

The 3 of the adults did get some practice before the game day but we were not playing on the same team.. Most of the time it was playing against each other.

As far as the 'Chaingun' comment...fear does not come to my mind at all. Respect yes.    But never fear...

Wolfy, I jst want to say that age is not so important as reflexes and understanding of your role in a game.  Spade-Jr is really good for his age.  So is Batswanna's boy, the Pookinator, if you remember.  I saw him frag you more than once.  And he was only four at the time.   :*

I'm really sorry that we spanked your team so bad.  Had I know how emotional you would get, we would have made tohe scores a little more even.  How about a handicap next time?  Say three flags?

Spanked us so bad?
Spanked us so bad?

What LAN party are you talking about, I don't recall getting spanked at all.  Beat, yes, spanked no!   With 2 games going into overtime tied at 2 flags each that would not be a spanking.  Oh and the 2nd game, the one that you guys won.   You won that game because we tried to change team positions.  Jr wanted to score, so we let him.  If we hadn't changed up like that I expect things would have ended differently.  But, only a rematch will give true bragging rights, and if it is close again, then it comes down to who is "on" that day. We shall see, we shall see.

No, just waiting for some kind of a creative taunt to respond to beside one line pot shots like:
"HAHAHAHAHA.....you guys are so easy!!! "
or
"Morpie must be mad at me...."

Waa Waa!

C'mon, you can do better than that, pull out your thesaurus and dictionary, and give me a real taunt to respond to.

It may take him a little time Morpheus..

Sometimes Opie forgets his letters. When that happens he has to watch all 26 editions of the "Letter People" to get them back in memory... Remember the  'sssssssss' for "S-s-s-s-sock"......

Just like a Wussarine to jump on the bandwagon.  He can never taunt on his own.  Not enough imagination.

As for you Morpie, why should I waste my time on a little ketchup eating, pinko leftist communazi like you?  You, who couldn't shot his way out of a wet paper towel.  You, who couldn't take me down in UT if I was sick, throwing up, and dizzy while playing UT.  (Sounds like one of Wussy's excuses doesn't it?)  So take your overly hairy, snot covered, holes in your socks self and stay on the side lines where you belong.

It’s said that those who resort to “colorful” language and malapropisms do so to compensate for insignificant vocabularies.  As for wasting your time, who has 277 posts?  Who has 90 posts?  Whose posts have content?

Lets see here.  Communazi is not what those who know me would call me.  Capitalist?  Yes!  Incompassionate?  Yes! But certainly not communazi.  In fact I had 3 schedule C’s that I had to do last year.  And I will have at least 3 this year as well.  How many did you have?  Do you know what a schedule C is?  Go to www.irs.gov for help.

As for shooting out of a we paper towel, I haven’t seen any wet paper towels in any of the maps, but I’m sure that I could at least translocate out of it.  As far as taking you on, only a REMATCH will prove this point.  So polish up your flack cannon, and work on using your space button and dodge buttons, cause I will be tracking you all over the map!  Everytime you turn around, I will be there!

Ah yes, in the absence of true evidence or wisdom, one must resort to unfounded personal attack.

 How artful!

Try again Opie!  If you can't come up with something better than that, I will simply let Wolverine loose to use his creativity in taunting you!

What a taunt, Morpheus!
(shouting) Morpheus! Morpheus!

You did everything but put a cork in his mouth and kick it down his throat!

I don't need to taunt with Morpheus putting out stuff like that!   (reclining in a lawn chair)
