It's CoD4 "reloaded" ... same base engine and made by infinity ward... not activision like that POS World at War.

After hearing that, idk if I'll pick it up. I may for the single player but if they are trying to ditch the multiplayer they've lost me. Having dedicated servers as well as mods can make the game even more interesting as time goes on.

Actually, I prefer the game play of WaW over MW.  It just "feels" better and I can actually play competently, unlike MW where I get p0wnd all the time.

It releases 11/10.  I will think about it and decide if I want to drop the $60 + tax on MW reloaded.

What does this do to your plans, Daxer?  I hate to think that you guys don't have a server now.

Link the petition for all of us. I'm pretty sure I won't be buying it until they fix the server and mod issues. I do understand the direction they are coming from but its just not right for a PC game.

The article seems to indicate that they really aren't listening to the players, and haven't heard the community very well.  I want the dedicated server because I want a server that I can remember and play on because that is where my friends chose to play.

I am not concerned with modding, in fact I generally avoid modded servers, but the dedicated servers I will miss.  It's good for teams to have their own to server to practice on, and players have a server that they play with friends.  Matchmaking tends to make this difficult to enable.

Sad.

How sad that a company can be so out of touch with their community that they can cause such a large and diverse number of die hard fans to choose to not purchase with one bad decision.

The ads make it look great, but apparently they forget that we don't buy it for single player, but that we play it for the experience with our friends.
