Disable the User Access Control in Vista
« on: November 28, 2008, 02:57:13 PM »
Anyone who has Vista is fully aware of the most annoying part of the OS...  the freaking UAC popups anytime you want to run something or make a change of any type.

I found a site with the fast and simple way to disable it:
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/disable-user-account-control-uac-the-easy-way-on-windows-vista/

Very worth doing it.

Zoƫ: Shepard, isn't the Bible kind of specific about killing?
Book: Very specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzy around the area of kneecaps.

This is not the way to do it. I don't have time now but there is another way to keep it on but limit the pop up screens. Thats what I did and it works very well.

PS. SP1 fixed my ram issue I now see all 4 gigs. Thanks ZW
