How am I suposed to take a government agency seriously if they don't know the Constitution on which this fine nation is founded upon.

Yep he goofed.  The funniest part though, this arose over the "foreign intelligence" or "domestic spying" program (depending on how you like it).  And there has been a law for quite a few years well before this administration that gives the attorney general the power to deem what the NSA can and cannot do in its information gathering tehniques.  In this case, the President and the attorney general both signed off on this.

  I just find it rather humerous that people rarely object to companies tracking and selling personal information (yes even the phone companies), but if the government does... whoah!

Sorry, done ranting.  Just had to after I checked out some of the other content er um BS shoveled by that site.

I completely agree, I just rather have my personal information remain personal and not have anyone be Gathering it and using it for what ever reason.

Your information is only private if you take it upon yourself to make it private.  You cannot entrust that responsibility to anyone else and to do so if foolish by any measure.
