Much to your demise I now have BF2 working again.  I love being the commander.  Got a gold star on the first map I played after the reload.

Sweet!  I kind of like commander because you can see your enemy.  You don't have to go hunting for them.

On the other hand...I don't feel the same satisfaction when I artillery someone as I do when I watch the missile become one with the hull of their vehicle of choice.

Yea, I would like to play BF2 online. Even finish getting the two last badges so I can have all of them and then upgrade them to silver.

Also nice avatar!

After you unlock the new weapons, you can select them by going to the screen with the weapon list while in game and you will see a small box in the corner of each weapons main box. Then you click on that box and you will see the weapon change to the new one.

Good Luck!

I mapped that to my mouse. Same for the spawn key. It just makes it easier.

They have a tendency to do that if you don't enforce some sort of population control.

Looks like Zeet made it in under the wire and will be attending.

I'll be there at 5pm when the doors open.  Not sure about Wolvey.  He is trying to get out of here early today.

The problem I'll have is I've only ever met Phil in person.  I suppose I can put a sign together and stand there like a limo driver at the airport.

Any preference on where you're at in the building?  I know Wolvey said he likes the end of a row.

Yeah, if you see a guy walking around looking like  it will be me.  I will probably be there around 4 or so to see if they open the doors a little early for setup time.

GREAT NEWS!!!  I found some profiling software while I was surfing the net at 1am this morning.  I am now playing HL2 and COD2 with a mouse and joystick.  Most people think it's unnatural to use a joystick in a FPS but for me I'm right at home.  We'll see if it does anything for my scores.

The earliest myself and Snauz can get there is 4:30, and thats if we bust our butts getting there. If you get there after 4:30 look for my Jolly Roger (flag), I fly it at evey lanparty, or at least bring it. I will be flying it this party loud and proud. Look for it thats were will be.

Also that is great news that you found the software you need to play properly. There is no natural way to play a game, I use 'W-A-S-D' format and before that arrows. ZW, uses another way, he keeps telling me but I forget. I know people who keypad their games, if you mouse and joystick, and own at it, more power to you, it also means people can't try and play you computer while you afk.

I'll be there around 5:00.  I'll get off from work a little after 4:30, and head on over.
